The Ladies of Charity SWF…
…are an association of the Ladies of Charity USA. Our membership comprises women from the parishes of the Diocese of Venice Florida.
We join nearly 6000 women in 57 associations across 20 states and the District of Columbia, as well as, volunteers in Africa, Latin America, Asia, Europe.
Our meetings are held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on the second Friday of each month from October to May.
We joyfully proclaim the Good News through…
- Our Works: performing the works of justice and mercy; feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty while advocating to alleviate poverty.
- Our Words: announcing with deep conviction God’s presence, love and mercy for all.
- Our Relationships: being with people who live on the margins, working with and for them, while forming communities of love and care.
